Being a member of the Minolta Group, Minolta Industries (HK) Ltd (alias MIK) has commenced its Office Automation procurement and production consignment in 1994. In October same year, a manufacturing plant has been set up in China located in Shilong Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong, actively playing the production role on plain paper copier (PPC) And laser beam printers (LBP).

    To better achieve MIK' slogan-"YIELDING THE FINEST PRODUCTS TO THE WORLD", ShiLong Factory in Dongguan has successfully acquired the ISO 9002 within 6 months after its commencement of production. Besides, being in close compliance with clientele prerequisites, intensive quality control has played a major role. In March 2000, the Shilong factory successfully acquired the ISO 14001 certificate.

    Minolta Industry City, set up and started using in June 1999, with 130 thousand square meters, integrates with production and material flow of duplicating machine and laser printers made of Japanese Minolta at Shilong Factory, enhancing their in-time delivering ability to worldwide, and opened a new chapter of wide cooperation between Minolta and Shilong Town.
